Protein will also give you more energy for your work out so you should eat extra proteins on the days that you are going to be working out. Try not to eat too many sweets. It is fine to treat yourself once in a while, but keep the unhealthy eating to a minimum. You should also eat four or five small meals a day instead of two or three large ones. This will help to increase metabolism. An increase in metabolism will aid women to build muscle more efficiently.
Women build muscle at a slower rate than men so it is best to make sure you are patient, and understand that you did not build your poor shape over night and you will not build muscle over night either. If you start slowly, and progressively use more weights in your weight training, women build muscle mass that is stronger, and their body will begin to take on the shape you want. If you try to do too much too fast, you will either injure yourself or not be able to workout, or you will get burnt out before you can see the results of your efforts.
